Voice & Tone
The Lovie voice is human, clear, and warm. We speak like a knowledgeable friend — never a corporate manual. Our tone adapts to context while our voice stays consistent.
Our Voice
Four traits define how Lovie sounds across every touchpoint.
Clear
We say what we mean in as few words as possible. No jargon, no filler. If a sentence doesn’t add value, it doesn’t belong.
Upload your logo to get started.
In order to proceed with the initial setup process, please utilize the upload functionality to submit your logo asset.
Warm
We’re approachable and human. We use conversational language that makes people feel welcome, not intimidated.
Looks great! Your brand kit is ready to share.
Brand kit generation complete. Output files are now available for distribution.
Confident
We know our craft and share guidance with conviction. We don’t hedge or over-qualify — we give clear direction.
Use the primary logo on light backgrounds.
We would generally suggest that the primary logo might work better on lighter backgrounds, if possible.
Thoughtful
We anticipate needs and provide context. We don’t just tell people what to do — we help them understand why.
Keep clearspace around the logo so it breathes. Crowded logos look unintentional.
Maintain minimum clearspace requirements as specified in section 4.2.
Tone by Context
While our voice stays the same, our tone shifts to match the moment.

Writing Principles
Lead with the action
Start with what the user needs to do, not why they need to do it. Front-load the most important information.
“Save your work” not “In order to preserve your changes, you should save”
Use active voice
Active voice is more direct and easier to read. Passive voice creates distance between the user and the action.
“We updated your settings” not “Your settings have been updated”
Be specific
Vague language creates confusion. Give concrete details, exact numbers, and clear next steps.
“3 files uploaded” not “Your files were processed”
